Rogers Park Public Safety Meeting on Monday

Attention all Rogers Park Internet users. Please post this on your websites, blogs and forums. Business owners and those Rogers Park social service agencies (Yeah, we know you're reading this) can print the flyer to hang in their business windows. Maybe it'll be mentioned at the CAPS beat 2431 meeting? Maybe, just maybe, we can get Joe Moore to do an email blast? (Yeah, we know you're reading this too.) That one I won't hold my breath for.

I can't wait to hear what Mr. Moore has to say - this should be interesting.

The meeting is at 1545 W. Morse? Forget it, that area is too sketchy to walk through after sunset.

I'm going to the CAPS meeting tonight, and am happy to report back on the status of the mention of the meeting.

Aren't there or weren't there to be three meetings like this?

Eh, that corner ain't so bad ms21. There are far worse places I can think of after sunset than that corner.

Now that the Public Safety Town Hall meeting has been secured, I'd like to fill you in on a couple of things. Other than having their names on the flyer, Harry and Joe did absolutely nothing to arrange this town hall meeting regarding public safety in Rogers Park. If anyones name should be on the flyer with Senator Steans, it's Jennifer Walling, Chief of Staff to the Senator and Michael Harrington. These are the two people that organized this important public meeting.
