Tuesday with Timmy (Update by Craig)

Hey, Craig, this week has been okay.

February 18: I was not in school on Wednesday due to some personal business.

February 19: On Thursday, we went on a field trip to the Mexican muesum near 18th and Damen. It was a very nice experience, then we went to the food court at Lincolnwood Town Mall to grab a bite to eat, then we went back to school and talked about the trip.

February 20: On Friday, things were actually a bit active. I saw a fight almost break out in computer class. Two kids were arguing and a punch was thrown. When the teacher saw it, they stopped. Other than that, there was just general loudness and arguments. Glad the weekend is here since I need to catch up on my sleep.

February 23: On Monday, things were the same as Friday. That fight actually happened this time, though.

- Thanks,

Update - February 24, 11:47 PM: Police call for back-up at Sullivan Fight School because one kid wants to fight the po-po (Police).

1:05 PM: Chicago Police are taking a couple more "in" from Sullivan Fight School.

3:00 PM: A large fight breaks out among a bunch of youths at Pratt and Ashland. Police call for back-up to calm the violent situation.

3:59 PM: 911 caller says three young looking male blacks are selling drugs at 1417 West Morse. Police arrive on scene and see nothing. No drug dispersal event number is given.

4:06 PM: Battery in progress. 15 young males fighting at 1443 West Morse. No victims are involved." They're all offenders," according the the police on scene giving a slow down. Adding, "they're all acting stupid!"

4:18 PM: #2452 has had enough of the kids fighting and is now doing foot patrol in the 1400 block of West Morse. He said the kids fighting ran into the youth center in the 1500 block of west Morse to hide from the police. My guess is he's talking about the do-gooders at Howard Area Community Center.

I'm not surprised at this news of the kid fighting the cops. The troublemakers like to do that when they have to go to jail or they're in trouble.

The other kids they took in probably started fighting or did something stupid, which isn't really surprising to me. I saw a situation at lunch which probably led up to this arrest.

I'm not surprised at the huge fight either. I've heard about fighting all day today and I've seen several incidents which probably led up to the fight.

What a f*cking mess. All of this stupid crap going on and no real arrests to speak of. Oh, well, he who fights and runs away...
