Hey, Craig, this has been a real short and good week.
February 10: On Tuesday, my class and I went on a field trip to the Swedish muesum at 5211 North Clark. It was a very nice experience. We also walked around Andersonville.
February 11: On Wednesday, things were calm. I observed a few arguments but that's about it. My class had a Valentine's Day party and it was awesome. I'm so glad we have 5 days off, so I'm looking forward to the long weekend. Everyone have a good weekend.
Febuary 17: On Tuesday, things were pretty calm. I saw a few regular altercations and some fooling around, but nothing major happened, and I was walking in the hallways carrying books and other stuff with me. Also, today, we had a second assembly on school safety. This time, Dr. Artia stated that he got most of the gangbangers out (but of course some are still around). He also said he will still work with the police commander, police officers and staff to continue to keep the school safe. He is also working with the police commander to keep suspended people out of the area of school. The police are emailed pictures of who is suspended every morning and if a suspended students are within 2 blocks from school, they will be arrested for trespassing and most of the crowd of protested to that. In fact, most of the crowd protested to what most of Dr. Artia said. They were not happy. A couple of times, a girl got up and questioned him. Other issues were discussed as well including seeing your consulers about schedules for next year, etc. Tomorrow, I will not be in school due to a doctor's appointment and Thursday, we're going to the Mexican muesum near 18th and Damen. I have no knowledge on how we're getting there or what else is planned because I'm a student.

Timmy, has the condition seemed to have gotten better since school began, or do you think stuff has just quieted down for a little while before it gets warm?
Oh, and you're going to like the Mexican Art Museum at Damen. Been there quite a few times and you're going to like the Day of the Dead stuff.
Honestly, I think the stuff is just quieting down before it gets warm, but I also think it's quieter now because of the zero tolerance stuff they're putting in.

Also, FYI, we walked around Andersonville because it was a nice day that day. What? We can't walk around a community without people harassing us? We have the same rights as you do. We had a Valentine's Day party because it was a short week last week and due to the fact Valentine's Day. We have parties and stuff because we're AUTISIC! Ever heard of that?? Huh??
I do agree with you that my school is a "loser" school, but that's when they fight all the time. Otherwise, it's a very good school to go to.

Relax Timmy boy..lol. I am not a HS student and have been out for quite a while now. You irritate me with you little "this happened at school today", "guys fighting in the corner" blah blah. That shit has been happening at that school since I use to gangbang outside Dennis place for games in the early 80s (I hope that answers you question). Fights happen in school and outside school eveyday accross the city, some more than others. Worry about you, period! This is Chicago, inner city shit you are talking about here, not some country town. Be a man and stand up to shit. If you think Rogers Park is hard now, in the 80's you would not find a "outsider" walking down Morse or Howard. The Royals, GDs and Vice Lords had that place on lock! I was a time when the gangbangers and the residents knew each other. Now the gangbangers are robbing and sticking up people because you have little Jen from Kansas runnning down the street with her Ipod on at 1 in the morning. I came from civil war that would make you little "their was a gangbanger breaking into a car today" blog fill up to capacity in 1 hour. Grab you balls and do something about it besides writing a blog about how many car break ins there are. Mrs. Dennies was a 70 + year old white lady that owned a candy store next to where the Farwell and Clark library use to be. She use to beat full grown gangbangers with a broom when they fucked with her. No lie, on everything she did! Sitting there whinning about what happens in your H.S, and talking about fairy days .... Jesus you are not doing your school a favor! That little old lady took action and was not a victim on her knees (no pun).

I know that stuff happens all the time (and I'm not whining about it, I'm just telling). I went to one of the worst schools in Chicago last year, so I know about it. I've also lived in Chicago all my life, so you can't tell me anything about inner city life. I know about it already. I have stood up to "shit" before, and have acted like a man when doing it.
My school isn't doing me a favor, either. They're fighting and causing mayhem almost everyday. Maybe if they weren't doing that, maybe I wouldn't have to write these observations. Maybe there would be one less thing for you people up in Rogers Park to read.
As for the "threat", I wasn't threatening you. I was telling you a fact. It's funny how you take it as a threat and yet you say I don't act like a man.
Like or not, unless Craig doesn't want me to do these observations anymore, I'm still going to be around. You don't have to read my observations or respond to them. That would save you a whole lot of trouble and time. Then again, if my observations just irritate you, then why do you read them time and time again?
