7:17 PM: Battery in progress. Two females fighting inside the Loyola Park field house. Mom is on scene and says her daughter is out of control. Possibly on something. A male is also involved in the battery.
8:12 PM: Female stabbed at 7545 North Winchester. Victim was taken to St. Francis Hospital Emergency Room in Evanston.

Any additional info on the female stabbed? Was it domestic or was she assaulted on the street by a stranger? The idea of the later makes me really nervous.
She was allegedly stabbed with a garden utensil, the hospital reported. That's it.
"Possibly" on something.
I wasn't at the gym Monday night, or else I would have witnessed the latest throw-down at the fieldhouse.
The staff there does its best to try and keep that nonsense down, and the cops stroll through, too. But crazy stuff jumps off down there often. It's not only the kids and teenagers, either. Some of the adults are just as guilty of participating in the rumbles that go on.
