Armed Robbery on Pratt
Police are looking for 5 or 6 male teens who allegedly strong arm robbed a citizen at 1642 West Pratt around 12:50 PM. The victim believes he was followed after he withdrew money from the ATM at Loyola and Sheridan. The victim said the offenders fled east on Pratt, then south on Ashland. Nothing further at this moment.

It appears that the Bank of America locations back down that way have been tampered/vandalized too often. I found the door handle broken off at one location, and half the time, the door is not closed shut.
Oh our lovely teens up here! That's why I carry pepper spray with me up here at all times, if I don't have the dogs. That was early afternoon in broad daylight - god knows what they might do at night! I am so sick of the thugs that wander around!
Also - I have the same guy asking me for money 2 or 3 times a week and a couple of days ago, he actually got mad at me that I wouldn't give him anything. Black, thin, 30's, around 5'10" - he usually has some story - anyone else get it from this guy?
If he is the man at the el that stands in front of the Morse stop every day then yes, I encounter him everytime I go get groceries which is scary bc I am by myself and get a little worried that one of these days he's goign to get mad that I keep walking back and forth with groceries... There are so many options I just don't understand...
I have never seen him by the Morse stop (that's probably another one). This guy has been on Morse near Sheridan or on Sheridan.
