Taggers Hit Lifeguard Hut

Reader Submitted

A loyal reader has informed me the lifeguard shack along Loyola Beach has been tagged by a creative Artist on the Lake.

No relation to Artist of the Wall.

Creative artist? Looks like crap...like a lot of tagging does.

Well the lifeguard hut wasn't exactly stunning to look at before, but now it's starting to look more 'at home.'

I'm just glad that the winds of change sculpture has been left alone for this long.

Tagging also spotted on the north side of the sidewalk on Estes between Greenview and Ashland. Seems to be some territory marking going on.

I have seen a lot of that "crap" lately - it's on the benches, buildings, etc. I call 311 when I see it and report it - that's what people need to do to get it removed. If enough people call, it should happen. I'm also happy (and surprised) the sculpture isn't a mess - maybe the junk doesn't stick to it.

That "sculpture" hasn't been tagged because it already looks like a piece of dog crap. "Winds of Change"? How about "Winds Out of My Ass"?
