Crime Writers Notice Timmy

Although he doesn't want it, Timmy's getting lot's of press attention lately. Seems every reporter and their brother wants to interview our little dynamo after the Time-Out article. Yesterday a major publication wanted to do a feature on him. Mr. Modest turned them down. (That's what I admire most about Timmy, he's humble.)

Anyhow, I found this write-up on Timmy today. I thought Timmy's fans would like to see.

Thanks for putting up that link. It was nice to read something good about me from another blogger.

And yeah, you're right Craig, it does feel that way.

check out this article

http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/1751278,w-rogers-park-fall-porch-090309.article

porches collapsing in rogers park
nothing new

1336-38 w farwell my neighbor
has a crappy porch in back,
it hasnt been condemned yet though i dont know why
i have called 311 and the aldermans office.
the landlord absentee who is in cicero has
left an illegal sign
saying that the porch in back should only be used in case of emergency from the second floor

since early this summer one of the steps crashed into oblivion.
obviously the wood was rotten and someone stepped right through it
and another step is collapsing
so the "emergency stairs" can be used but you must mind the gaping chasm.

Timmy, these folks are a bit more than bloggers. They write crime novels. These boys and girls are big-time story tellers.

Oh, wow. I didn't even read that part (just looked again and saw it). I should start reading that blog. That'd be kind of cool if they wrote a novel about something on my blog, but that's only a dream, LOL :).

Did you catch that craziness that took place at that high school in my neighborhood this morning? I hope nothing ever happens like that at Sullivan.

guess i will have to send you a picture of it before it gets a blog entry

Timmy,I don't know you that well yet why does it have to be a dream if they wrote a novel about something on your blog?

Perhaps you could literarily expound something that you documented on your blog?

Most of these individuals rostered on The Outfit blog have been noted in various forms of mainstream & literary press for their works.

Perhaps one or several may offer practical pointers on getting published or some encouragement and writing techniques if this becomes a vocation of choice for you?

At the least an interview with one of them for class project paper?

Newgarder, all I was saying is that it's a dream because 1) they're big time writers, they have more interesting stories to write about and 2) they wouldn't know enough about the crime/vitcim because I don't totally reveal some crimes for protection of the vitcims.
