Quick Sullivan Update

Good morning, everyone. I'm just here for a quick update on the life at Sullivan. It's been really calm. This year is so much better than last. There's been the usual craziness, but no fights or anything big. Also, my class is going on a field trip to Graceland Cemetery this morning, but again, I'm not attending. So, here is your fix on Sullivan (LOL) and have a good day.

Update: I witnessed something rather disturbing today in the bathroom. I was coming from a class and I decided to make a pit stop. So then when I came in there, there was a boy in there who was smoking some sort of drugs or a cigarette. I couldn't tell what exactly it was. I would've told someone, but he was right in front of me in the hallway, so I decided not to say anything as I didn't feel like arguing or getting beaten (this probably would've happened to me).

why is this year better?

perhaps some of the real thugs
have graduated/dropped out/expelled?

just wondering.
I would have gone to the graceland cemetery field trip, Ive been meaning to go, but havent yet, really cool gravesites there.

I have a chicago cemetery book that give a good overview of the cities and surrounding areas' cemeteries.

jeffo, I'd be happy to tell you why this year is better. Part of it is because, yeah, a few of them dropped out or were expelled. But another reason why is because of some of them growing up a bit over the summer. It may also because of the stricter rules we have this year.

FYI, Timmy. I talked with a high ranking state officials office yesterday. They really like your work here on the Broken Heart. Keep up the good work.

That's nice to know, Craig.

That's been going on forever, Timmy.

I know, Craig. It still disturbs me. But that's why another reason I didn't "snitch" (this word seems to be everyone's favorite these days). I remember things like this as far back as 6th grade.

To whoever keeps on crying wolf about 6923 N Wayne. People can drink on private property. If they are trespassing sign a complaint.

dont know about 6923 n wayne,
is that the seniors place?
has to be,

why? are people calling the cops about that?

i know someone was mugged inside the building a few months ago,
but didnt know about the drinking

all illicit drug use inside a highschool should be reported,

but yeah i can understand not wanting to be labeled a "snitch".

highschool really is like prison in someways, you are trapped with the same people all day long in the same building, you use the same bathrooms, eat in the same cafeteria, and there is no telling who you will be alone during the day, especially the bathroom.

the principal is the warden,
especially in some schools in chicago.

6923 is slumlord bldg. duh. o yeah.
i guess someone is calling in seeing people drinking in the backstairs.

which definitely wouldnt surprise me, there are shady characters hanging out back there, that werent there until after the block building shut down, i havent seen anyone drinking in the "front"/side courtyard.

thankgod its not a full courtyard buliding.
