Victim Loses Part of Nose in Rogers Park Bottle Attack

The nose of a person struck in the face with a bottle was partially cut off early Wednesday in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side. A person was struck in the face with a bottle at 12:02 a.m. on the 2000 block of West Greenleaf Avenue, according got police.

The nose of the victim, who was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, was partially cut off during the attack, according to police No one was in custody at 3:30 a.m. and police have classified the incident as a battery. Belmont Area detectives are investigating. Source/Read more.

OUCH! I hope that person isn't too injured by this injury. I'm also wishing this person recovery (how small that may be). I'm also hoping that the police find whoever did this senseless attack.

that is why my one rule why i walk around is to pickup
glass bottles, no matter where i am,
its a potential weapon
and a potential mess for future cleanup.

People! wakeup!
pickup any glass bottle you see.
for the love of god.

its easier to pickup one piece of glass that several shards of death,
plus you may prevent someone getting maimed or killed
