Quick Sullivan Update

Good afternoon, everybody. It's been a while since I've posted here, so I decided to make a quick post on life at Sullivan (I was also encouraged to by one of the school cops to do so). It's been good. No mini riots broke out last week (from what I've seen, at least) or today. There's just been some of the usual goofing around. But that's high school life for you, and it doesn't bother me much. Also, it seems to me that some of the "bad" kids are somewhat more focused on doing school work this year. So, things have been good at Sullivan and hopefully they will remain that way. It's nice to see some peace, especially when you live in a violent neighborhood like I do.

Update, 11/12/09: Just letting you all know that I'm going on a field trip tomorrow to the Medill School of Journalism, which is located in Evanston. I'm going with my Journalism class tomorrow. It should be a good experience. And also, there has been no fighting so far in the last couple of days either. It's calm this year.
