It's election day. Don't let the snow keep you away. Whoever you've chosen to vote for, vote. As usual, I'll be doing live blogging from various precincts in the 49th ward.
Like I said, get out and VOTE.
Update #1: Well, well. Wouldn't you know it. Tom Westgard has been asked three times by the election judges to stop his illegal campaigning for Eamon Kelly in front of 7350 North Sheridan. At one point he challenged the election judge to do something about it.

Dumb question, Craig, but these votes today are not for our aldermen, right?
County, state, judicial and federal races today, Timmy.
City elections are next year.
yeah thats a dumb question
because
this blog will be nothing but
alderman politics when that election occurs
hmmmmm.
someone hasnt done enough research on the history of the broken heart
Vote Stroger! Four more years of effective county government!
Vote Alexei! A senator we can trust.
And next year we can reelect our trusted alderman Joe Moore. Can't wait!
No ones going to vote Stroger, if they have any sense about them (plus it's snowing today!) and if they have done any homework they also won't vote for Alexi.
anyone know a quick and dirty website with the candidates positions? I have not been paying attention.
Well, geo, I don't follow politics except for when it's city elections. That's when it gets interesting to me. Just thought I'd ask since I wasn't informed by anybody.
And the live blog would be where?
My journalists covered a few races.
