A man was charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a man with a knife and beating him with a wooden table leg after the man refused to give him crack cocaine on credit in the Rogers Park neighborhood early Saturday on the North Side, police said.
Jeffrey Hill, 55, of the 1300 block of West Loyola Avenue, was charged with aggravated battery with a weapon and attempted murder, according to police.Source/read more.
