Did You?

Come on. Be honest. In 2006, did you vote for this man because David Fagus told you to?

I voted for this man in 2006 for reasons that had nothing to do with Fagus.

I voted for him because his opposition seemed worse. That's the choice we usually have these days: bad or worse.

I'm not sorry, though I'm very disgusted and disappointed.

But then, Rep. George Ryan was a disappointment to say the least. And the other Ryan was garbage, and so are most of the Dems and Republicans running.

Let's hope Kirk is not too disappointing, because that will probably be who wins this fall. He looks better than Quinn, which almost anybody does.

A lot of people voted for George Bush because "God" told them to.

At least he get's what he has been wanting for a while now... a chance to tell the truth, the real story! He will get to do this in the court of law.

The funny thing is, if he is so innocent, why do they need to keep delaying the trial? You really would only need to do this if you are trying to find ways around facts that could be damaging.

I'm not a lawyer, but I know crap when I see it! Lock his ass up for a long, long time!!!

I voted for Rod Blagojevich in 2006
because his opposition was Judy Barr Topinka and JOE BIRKETT. I would vote for Satan himself if it would serve to defeat Birkett or anyone else who tried so hard to KILL Rolando Cruz for a crime he did not commit.

I voted for him because he ordered that all pharmacies must dispense birth control and morning after pills and not give women the runaround.

Yes, Birkett is one of our most evil public figures- a man who would knowingly send an innocent man to the death chamber just to get "closure".

Blago is a criminal and a clown, but we could have done a lot worse with Topinka and Birkett.... just as we could done worse with McCain/Palin.

I didn't vote for him. I would never vote for a Democrat. There's not a decent one in the bunch.

Mark Kirk? I will hold my nose when I vote for him. Why will I vote for him you ask? Because as much as I despise him because of his opposition to the Constitution of the United States, I despise his opponent one thousand times more.

I love and still vote for the Democratic Party nationally.

At the state and local level the party has morphed into a racket. It has no interest in upsetting the status quo. They are anti-change.

Reform has to happen in this state. We are going down hard. The Democratic party is not the party of reform in Illinois.

Both of our political parties are thoroughly corrupt and criminal.

The only way we will ever get reform is to for a third or even fourth party to get a toe-hold and get a few of these outsiders elected. My preference is Libertarian but I'll even take a Green, just to stir the pot a little.

From here forward, as long as the third party is not some racist hate-group or band of raving paranoid conspiracy theorists, I'll vote for it in preference to the two major parties.

The Democrats and Republicans both ceased to have solutions long ago. Their respective platforms are full of contradictions and hidden agendas. They both need to fade to irrelevance.

I voted against Blago in the primary based upon my recollection, but not in the general election. It was the lesser of the evils.

His decision to place the Nation of Islam on some sort of Illinois Religious Tolerance Committee 'seemed' a bit of a contradiction. It chased most of the established credible religious Jewish Community off the Committee.

Of course, when I heard hearsay that he and his NU College Buddies were into regular and routine "dine and dash," he lost any credibility. (Source Men's Health writer Powell, his NU buddy, admitted and well aware of the Blago crime spree). See link

How Blago got so far in spite of his antics is why politician's secrets are quite fascinating when eventually revealed. Imagine if he had gotten caught sooner! The next time that this happens, think about Hot Rod.
