The cabdriver said he tried to rouse the man for about 10 minutes before driving to the police station. Police searched the man's bag and found bottles of a "clear, crystalline substance" connected by wires to a "power source," which together apparently amounted to a miniature methamphetamine lab, according to a police report.
The street value of the drugs in the man's bag was nearly $450,000, the police report said.
I cant believe the cops didnt give the cabbie some money to cover the fare and his time from the ill gotten gains from the passed out man.
Sometimes the law is too severe and harsh, we all know that that money should be confiscated but jeez there should be some leeway and judicious use of the dough. That money itself didnt do anything wrong, dont punish the money.
no chip bagg, I posted my comments of news, If craig wants to make a separate news item for it thats fine, if not its just lumped in with the comment section, just thought someone with a mobile meth lab in RP just visiting from canada was a funny xmas story
I used to have a friend who couldn't wait until there was enough snow on the ground, so he could break out his snowshoes. I haven't seen that guy in years.
