Usually when I get this close to politicians, I protect my pockets to make sure they're not trying to take a little extra. At last nights Equality Illinois banquet I didn't have to worry posing with State Rep.
Susana Mendoza. She's been a stand-up State Rep, bucking the trend of her somewhat conservative constituent base. Susana is running for City Clerk. I'll be casting my vote her way.
