Tale of the Tape
If it's any indication who's going to win, look no further than the campaign headquarters this morning. Joe Moore is loaded for bear. Volunteers are currently manning various precincts, while Dave Fagus has what looks like another 30 volunteers milling around the headquarters at Greenleaf and Ravenswood.
By stark contrast Brian White had no one at any polls I went by, and the office had one lone person who didn't want to be photographed.
Gotta ask yourself. Where's all Brian's volunteers? Where's Scott Phillips? Where's Michael Harrington? Where's the Living Room Blog chick? Where's the North of Howard bloggers? Where's robo caller Don Gordon?
Grady Humphrey had more volunteers than White does at his campaign office this morning. (Remember Grady?)
It's D-Day. They all should be up and helping their pal, Brian, get elected. They should already be in the office making calls. They should be in front of polling places handing out lit. All that blather on the internet how they support White, yet none are visible this morning.
I guess they already know their candidate doesn't stand a chance in hell.

Check your facts Craig - I didn't endorse or campaign for anyone in this game year.
Blogging about the election put you in the game, Toni.
Volunteers? I thought they got $35 and a sandwich?
:-)
Little Joe, are you passing out Big Joe's doughnuts or just shining his shoes?
A friend of mine at NU says BW called him to ask him to help him recruit some NU student "volunteers." Yesterday. A little late in the game. I voted against Moore as always, but it's in the bag. Four Moore Years.
Hey 'Little Joe',
The Brian White volunteers were out on the street early, not standing around posing for photos.
Hey Mike, I heard one of Brian White's volunteers north of Howard was drunk as a skunk - and was about ready to get arrested. Was that you or Scott Phillips?
Gee, maybe they were counting on a whole bunch of nonprofit employees showing up to "volunteer."
Blogging about two facts or realities does not consist of an endorsement Craig.
Blogging about a fact or two hardly consists of an endorsement of a campaign effort. A post card and a bag of herbs was a report of what was going on Saturday.
Guess you didn't get the word BORING but got the bag of herbs!
"Little Joe',
It certainly wasn't me...I don't start imbibing until the cocktail hour, after 5 PM. By the way, can we look forward to more advertising from 'Big Joe' in your magazine, or was that back cover just a one time, pre-election deal?
