A 24 year old male was shot in the leg and groin on November 18, 2012 around 12:45 a.m., in the 7400 block of North Seeley. Police reports say this was a drive-by shooting. No weapon was recovered and no offender is is custody. The bleeding man full of bullet holes was transported to St. Francis hospital in Evanston and reported in stable condition.
This is just a couple of blocks from where a 21 year old female was shot the night before.

Two drive by shootings in late evening hours on consecutive nights a block away from each other: Gee, I don't suppose we have a gang problem here in Rogers Park. It almost seems as if local politicians and law enforcement are satisfied to address the symptoms of violent crime by forcing migration of these problems from place to place rather than to remedy it by actually incarcerating the offenders when they are caught. Has anyone asked about the disposition of the Halloween night Gale School area incident. I was told by the CPD that no charges were filed. Boy, I bet the CPD doesn't miss a donut call or a lunch at the A&T Grill all winter. They sure don't seem to really care about fighting crime.
Question 1: How much do I owe St. Francis Hospital for tending to the groin and leg wounds suffered by this "victim"?
Question 2: Why weren't these gang members playing midnight basketball with Mayor Rahm and all the rest of the gang guys instead of shooting up RP?
Question 3: Just how much do I owe for the whole basketball tournament that Mayor Rahm held between gang teams and other neighborhood teams on the south side this weekend?
Question 4: Why are our RP gang members such poor shots? They need to taken lessons from the Evanston gang guys one of whom actually killed a popular 14 year old on the street - no hospital attention required.
Question 5: Why didn't the po-po just arrest and kick the asses of all the gang guys who showed up to play basketball with Rahm...or is this just a way of pacifying the "black community"?
