Shots fired on Glenwood?

Gunplay in Rogers Park continues to go unabated. This morning around 12:30 a.m., (or 11:30 a.m., if you turned back your clock exactly at midnight), a neighbor allegedly heard bangs from a gun in the 6700 block of North Glenwood, prompting an anonymous 911 call for "shots fired." When officers arrived on scene they saw nothing, giving a "slow down."

Ananymous and others: I really hate it people use the "must be fireworks" bullshit.Even a single pack of firecrackers would leave a very distinct amount of waste, If it was fireworks, where the heck is the pile of waste? Also, usually when someone sets off a pack of firecrackers, they shoot off an entire pack. The common small packs contain 16 firecrackers that have a very distinct symetrical pattern. I think even individuals who are totally naive about firearms instinctively differentiate and innately identify the distinct pattern of firecrackers from firearms discharge.

I saw a heavy police presence patrolling between Morse and Albion yesterday. I wonder if they were expecting retaliation from some of the NOH shootings.

@PhilHayShow

The people using the fireworks are tidy and clean up after themselves. That is why there is no pile of waste.
