Pritzker construction team violates city building permit's

Chain-link fence blocks entire alley from emergency, foot and vehicle traffic.
The construction project permit's to build in condo's at 1344 West Morse has expired, but the construction team continue's to work and block the local alleyway. Violating the terms of the permit.

The permit's posted, as required by law, show the construction project can no longer do work, expiring on December 25, 2012. Yet on December 26, 2012 at 8:00 a.m., a chain-link fence has blocked all access to and from Lunt to Morse.

The project also states work cannot start until 9 a.m. This rule has been violated since the project began.

The permit clearly states that a 10 foot lane MUST be left open and unobstructed at all times. As you can see from the exclusive photo, the WHOLE alley is blocked off.

I guess when you donate money to the Alderman's campaign fund as Tawani Enterprises and Pritzker have done, (Feb. 29, 2012 for $3000.00 and another on the same day for $3000.00, one on July 16, 2012 for $2000.00 - and one on August 9, 2012 for $1500.00 - totaling $9.500.00 in 2012), little things like violating a City of Chicago building permit is ok?

When you are a billionaire, trifle things like permits are meaningless. I'm sure this will be sorted out. When you have that much power this is a very minor thing. For someone who's livelihood is on the line its more of a big deal.

OMG I'm back from my Tahoe vacation with my parents and I'm back roughing it in Rogers Park. SO COOL we've got snow and the drum circles have moved inside for a while. I don't like Pritzkers because they are Republicans and their sons aren't cute. But I noticed your headline has some errors. Permit's should be Permits. There's another one of these errors elsewhere in the story.

Merry Christmas, Craig! LOL.

Time to vote.
Rogers Park versus West Loop.
