We don't have to go into all the details, this man is stinkin' rich. Even though he's listed as a Republican, he's even learned how the system works. When you need something done - you write oodles of campaign contribution checks to your local Democratic public official, who, ironically, he beat out in the 2012 "Readers Choice" award; by a margin of 2 to 1.
Who knows, in 100 years from now the city may even rename Rogers Park to Pritzker Park? That's if he doesn't pull out some pocket change and buy it first.

Building of the year is the Farcroft.I dont think he would want to change the name of the hood. They have put their name on so much stuff that it has become meaningless.
However kudos to our resident billionaire helping out a part of the city really worth investing in.
Rehabbing the Farcroft and Frank Lloyd wright house are really a public service to society. Money well spent.
Btw are you going to give Mr Pritzker this prize in person?

I find it odd that James Pritzker is person of the year in the Peoples Republik of Rogers Park. Isn't he part of the evil "1 percent" so hated by the left? And isn't he one of the millionaires and billionaires hated by our Dear Leader Barack Hussein Obama? Well if he one fair and square in a Chicago election, congrats to him.

Pritzker spends his vast wealth to buy people off and change his socks in Rogers Park.
