Kid, 17 to 19 years old, running to the Morse 'L' to catch the train. Older guy, 50ish, leaving the Morse 'L' grabs kid by arm as he's franticly trying to catch train. It looks as if we've got an assault or something about to go down. I'm ready to spring into action and jump the 50 something dude.
Turns out the kid had just dropped his iphone out of his pocket, in the middle of Morse, while running, and didn't notice. But the older guy did. Older guy walks the kid to the phone by the arm and points to the dropped phone on the ground.
The kid picks it up and says "thanks," then darts to the train station, all-be-it, he's already missed his train.
Older guy goes the other way. All this went down in about 30 seconds.

Rats. I got scooped again on another big story. At this rate I'll end up delivering pizzas on my bike just to pay the mortgage on my 4BR condo. Life sucks.

I saw a couple of people remind a passenger on the EL that he had forgotten his earmuffs before he left. This kind of stuff is always nice to see and reminds you that there are plenty of decent people in this world. Nice puff piece.
Check out my latest "scoop" Craig. Im getting alot of hits from Uptown Update. ;)
