Dennis Fritz said on Facebook. "This woke me up last night. I swear, there must have been about 10 or 12 shots fired in all. The guy is lucky he only got wounded."
At this time it is unknown if this is a gang-related shooting or just a random act of violence. The 40 year old man was taken to St. Frances Hospital where he is listed in stable condition, according to police. No one is in custody and police are investigating.

The giant tags are all over the area now, on Damen west to Fargo, including on stop signs as well as on buildings. Really depressing. These oversized tags are always the precursors for more idiots shooting up my neighborhood, bending steet signs, randomly vandalizing cars, etc. Never seems to stop.
The whole area around this Damen strip from Rogers to Howard is sketchy.
Lot's of negative loitering going on.
When you see the crown upsidedown,that means the opposing gang is dissing them. Watch out then, its bad.
Its not called a gangway for nothing!
