Huge Cover Up @ 1225 W. Morse

Lower than scale paid, non-union workers hide their costly mistakes with a huge blue tarp!

John Manley of Journeymen Plasterers Local #5 thanked me for covering his story, explaining to me today, "The poor workmanship of these non-union/lower than scale paid plasterers you showed in your morsehellhole photograph yesterday, the one showing outside goof up plastering job has been covered up with a band-aid type fix and now a security/heating tarp covers the entire area". "The non-union, sub-standard paid workers doing work for this developer attempted to cover their tracks. If these contractors think that big blue tarp is doing any good protecting the poor plaster job, they are wrong." Plus a few other official types came out and snooped around. Also, Mr. Manley pointed out, " I've been out here for two day's and these material haulers start very early, it's a wonder no one has complained? Trucks pulling up well before the 8 am permit start time". Mr. Manley's not alone in this observation, I too have seen un-loading of materials well before 8am many times before yesterday.

The endless permits attached to this projects storefront window show that Mr. Manley is correct. The developer needs to find contractors that can follow the rules to all these permits listed in the window.

Today, I went around back to see for myself and this ulta-huge tarp cover reminded me of what the Cubs wanted to do to the Roof Top owners to keep them from watching Cubs baseball games. Is this developer and contractor hiding something?
