It all happened in a blink of an eye, the Morse Avenue Open Air Drug Market Salesman, working out of bounds, finds two customers on Glenwood Avenue.

Giving it his best sales pitch, the customers find the deal worth while and give un-taxable money to the salesman. The transaction takes place, the customers leave, the salesman heads back to the inbounds area of Morse Avenue.

I dug up a "FIVE MONTH OLD, OFFICIAL STATEMENT" from DevCorupt North Board Secretary, CAPS 2431 Beat Facilitator, 49th Ward Up/Down Zoning Committee President, 49th Ward Democratic Party Board member, CTA investigative reporter Kevin O'Neil, who wrote at 01:02 PM 7/27/2004: "Are there still drug dealers on Morse? Of course there are. The new commander did report that he met will all alderman in the district, and heard from Moore that Morse Avenue is a top policing priority for him. The commander was a former Narcotics section commander, and promised that gangs and dealers "will be neutralized." He warned though that a good street corner drug conspiracy takes at least 4-6 months to crack. "

"Finally, I can tell you that Morse is a gang-loitering hot spot." "The police won't tell you that, because they are not allowed to. But I know!" said Kevin O'Neil.

Months huh? Months of 'surveillance teams' driving by, watching, while you to post pictures, that's a real difficult task. You're doing all the work! Same on Howard Street. Those dudes and dudettes standing at a non-bus stop in the freezing cold are NOT waiting for a bus. Duh. Yet we hear the same stats and reasons to the methods of the madness at every CAPS meeting.....Odd, the police in Cincinnati go ahead and ask why people are acting in suspicious manners. Sure, it puts them in a precarious position, but at least they have a position, not just words. Not the same words over and over and over.

Toni, you ARE kidding, right? Using Cincinnati as an example of a great police force? The same police force that shoots unarmed black people indiscriminately? Gimme a break!

Happy New Year!
