Political Favor Land Grab-Zoning Deal
Questions That Didn't Get Answered, Get Answered Tonight?
Kevin O'Neil put it on the CAPS flier, so let's talk about these things tonight. Lot's of questions went un-answered last week.
The water was shut off at 6957 N. Greenview, will Mr. Coe bring us the paper work to the water main break? Will he have a service call to 311? We can talk about that, right?
We will get more Special Service Area #24 taxpayers. New owners that don't have a chance to say yes or no as required by law. Will these new future owners have a chance to say yes or no on this tax? Will they market this in the condo advertising? We can talk about this right?
Try this, the new future commercial space owner DevCorp North, being a not-for profit will not have to pay any Special Service Area #24 taxes, and will not generate revenue or foot traffic to the street. With so many other vacant storefronts, they could move into any one of those spaces if they really want to move to Morse Avenue? Let's talk about this.
Did you vote for the zoning change from B3-3 to B3-5? No hint of possible influence here... right, you went downtown to support the Special Service Area tax even though you don't live in the area and pay the Special Service Area taxes, wow... nice neighbor you are, force your neighbors to pay a cookie cutter tax to a organization you sit on the board, where half the money pays administration fees, not programs. Let's talk about this.
Can't you get them in the Gateway Mall... the mall DevCorp North owns, you signed the deal to own Gateway Mall, right? Why are they leaving Howard Street? Let's talk about why DevCorp North doesn't file on IRS forms they own assets of this, for profit shopping center? Let's talk about where they are getting the money to buy more property?
Kevin O'Neil put this on the CAPS flier, let's talk about it.
We can talk about the Special Service Area taxpayer funded, Holistic Security team, a team that wears bulletproof vests. Very Holistic. This can be discussed at the green flier meeting.
