Open Air Drug Market Satellite Office Has Tangled Wires... And More

"Finally, a new building was added into the mix, 1321 and 1323 W. Lunt.  The building is vacant as the owner is preparing to convert the units to condos.  It is not secured well and is serving as a satellite office of 1345 W. Lunt.  The owner of this property was not revealed and what to do was not addressed.  This is an oversight. I will point this out to the Alderman's Office and expect they will look further into the problems and ownership of this property.

David, let's start with the basics. I'll help you out. 1321 and 1323 W. Lunt Avenue has a property index number of 11-32-114-003-0000. This property was built in 1919. The building is "vacant" according to David Fagus, but I found one unit still occupied. Fagus claims the owner is preparing to convert the units into condos, but didn't know who. It is not secured well and is serving as a satellite office of 1345 W. Lunt, according to the notes from the David Fagus blogsite.

Here's more. This is a 8 unit, 3 story building. NICHOLAS PANSZCZYK sold the property to TOMCOL LLC on March 22nd 2005 for $ 1,420,000 dollars. Who is TOMCOL LLC you ask? MICHAEL C JURASEK is the Agent for TOMCOL and 10 S LASALLE ST STE 2930 is the street address to TOMCOL. His record office is at 2115 W CHARLESTON AVE. Now, that wasn't hard to find. I found this out in five minutes. We didn't need the Alderman's help. Well, ok, maybe Fagus does?

Did you notice the permit and stop work sticker on the front door? Funny thing about the permit, the name on it is Colen Hebson. He is listed to live at 1321 W. Lunt. I couldn't find his name on the bell. So I went around back to see if he was there.

Endless wires everywhere. I mean wires and cords in every direction. Heck, looking at this mess of cords and wire... I got lost following where each cord and wire went. Shall we count the number of violations? Who wants to start? Alderman Moore needs to give this owner the same business he gave Mr. Lee.
