It's not the first time and most likely, there will be more of this littering from Alderman Moore in the future.
See his political life is on the line and he needs to get the word out he's Alderman. Things are going bad under his watch.
The streets are gang filled, the commercial districts are mostly vacant and boarded up and gang shooting are common. He was caught red headed doling out zoning changes for campaign contributions. Gateway Mall is not what he promised us and covers up the fact DevCorp North cheats the IRS by not filing ownership, oh the list goes on.
No Gale Field fieldhouse, no new fire house, but, he can secure a new office for Kimberly Bares.
He hasn't done a single thing to stop the corruption at City Hall, closing his eyes as vendors rob the city blind, including DevCorp North.
He didn't know about city street improvements on Lunt, in his own ward, not warning neighbors of street projects. I had to tell the Alderman this was happening. This news we could have used a flier for.
So, Alderman Moore's having a party and giving away a free hotdog or two to all that sign-up at his annual political picnic rally and he wants to tell us about it.
That's right, this really isn't for the kids, or doesn't really do anything to get the kid's back in school, that's the ruse of it all. It's a political rally for Alderman Moore. It's a recruiting tool for Alderman Moore. It's a way for Alderman Moore's name to plastered all over the neighborhood in the name of the kid's going back to school.
Last night I witnessed a person hanging these fliers in my neighborhood. Alderman Moore had someone doing his dirty work again. THIS MORNING THEY LITTERED THE SIDEWALKS AND STREETS. Who is going to clean up this mess? Alderman Moore, show respect for our neighborhood, pick up your trash. Don't have someone else do your dirty work like the Special Service Area janitors.

This tidbit didn't make it into the story but who wants to bet these fliers were printed in Evanston, thus avoiding the City of Chicago sales tax?
Flyers should be banned. The tape sticks to gates, they get ripped off and thrown down and we get to pick them up.
We can't get permission to put up ordinance signs for no drinking, drugging, loitering, using richie as the reason, but this paper mache is everywhere, is ugly, and deterioriates the hood even more.
