Delta Demolition and Golden Hands Construction does have a permit with the Enviomental Protection Agency. An inspector from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency visited the site Monday (1/23/06) pursuant to a citizen complaint.
* They are supposed to wet the building down and it shouldn't be open.
* They are supposed to have plastic up too.
* They can't (can not) re-sell the bricks until they're cleaned of asbestos or lead.
* They will investigate the potential rat problem though they said they have all the proper permits which included rat abatement.
