Gary,
I was told you sent me an e-mail regarding your concerns regarding dust at the Adelphi demolition site. I searched my e-mail in-box and did not find any such e-mail. Nonetheless, I personally visited the site on Saturday afternoon.......
Whoa. Let's stop there.
Did Alderman Moore just write back to a e-mailer, telling the e-mailer the Alderman didn't get a e-mail? But he was was told he got a e-mail. That's spooky.
Who told Alderman Moore he got an e-mail?
How did that person know Alderman Moore was sent an e-mail?
Does everyone who e-mails the Alderman get such double check treatment?
Full response here.
The Alderman's return letter is more of a political hot-air answer that goes something like this...."Gary I think you're wrong. I breezed by on my way to the campaign office and they were in full compliance. You need to stop scaring the bee-jeevies out of the neighborhood for no reason at all."
Still, who called the Alderman to tip him off, warning the Alderman he had an blog posted e-mail?
Or did Alderman Moore personally visit the (blog) site himself on Saturday Afternoon?

sally-
i did. both thursday and friday and exactly as the photo depicts.
morse man-
photos don't lie. i don't know about scarin the bee-jeevies but i do know what i saw and it is exactly as the photo shows. thursday and friday.
there was a worker with a large push broom, trying to keep the dust falling on the sidewalk on estes from piling up. there was no indication whatsoever of a water truck or an attempt to open the hydrant on the corner.
if there was, there would have been no reason for me to write another letter.
what everyone seems to be missing is the commitment to wet down the site as required. that was the whole point of the excercise.
