In the recent Pioneer News-Star article on Lakeside Community Development Corp., Cary Steinbuck was asked why she dismantled the Rogers Park Community Development Corp. board without warning.
Her response: "Our primary mission is Rogers Park," Steinbuck said of the abrupt removal of the board. "It seemed that members of the CDC wanted to go in another direction and we just wanted to make sure that we keep our focus."
Why then, do you suppose Ms. Steinbuck and the Rogers Park Community Development Corp just pursued and accepted a contract from Chicago Public Schools to provide home buyer training to school teachers from all over Chicago?
So, is the primary mission "Rogers Park" or lying to the public to cover up something, like bad book-keeping practices at Rogers Park Community Council?
