(STNG) - A female officer from the Rogers Park District shot a man twice Thursday night, injuring him, after police said he charged towards her with a knife while she and another officer responded to a North Side apartment for an incident.
(Tribune) - About 9 p.m., two officers responded to a 911 call of a man with a knife on the 7300 block of North Wolcott Avenue, said police spokesman Pat Camden. The uniformed officers arrived at a first-floor apartment and talked to a man inside who said he and a friend had come to visit some people. "He said his friend just started acting crazy," Camden said.

Will Brendan Shiller, attorney son of Alderbeast Helen Shiller, represent the woman in a lawsuit against the city? He's done it before, he'll do it again.
Will Helen Shiller muzzle her troublesome son, who is defending accused Hamas terrorism financiers in court?
Will defending supposed Hamas enablers have a negative impact on the lakefront Jewish vote in the 46th ward?
Who knows?!
For more hard hitting "investigative journalism", sheer snarkiness, and 46th ward silliness, visit What The Helen today.
You people are real pieces of work. Someone gets ACCUSED of financing terrorism, and they are then obviously guilty. Their attorneys, scumbags who are traitors for making sure their client's rights are not violated through the legal process.
May I remind you of all the men who have been cleared of murder in Cook County after serving 10-20 years in jail? They were beaten into submission, and then injustly imprisoned for years. You people were probably the ones back then pushing to have them strung up right then and there.
Grow up, and learn something about the freedoms and responsibilities of our Republic.
We've ALWAYS prefaced our statements about the Hamas terrorism financiers with the words "supposed" or "accused". These people are innocent until proven guilty, of course. It's the American way.
But if mom is running for Alderbeast in a ward that has many Jewish voters, you'd think twice about sticking the knife in mom's back, wouldn't you?
Then again, look who we're dealing with.
Enough of the multi- links to your site WTH. We get the idea.
Dear Ms. Albion:
Please don't misconstrue our intent or take our words to use as cover for your own (and in our opinion misguided) agenda.
In this great country of ours, we are all afforded the civil liberties and rights as set forth in our constitution. To convict someone without a fair and impartial trial is un-American.
Don't start down the slippery slope, or you yourself may end up being extraordinarily rendered to Egypt, Syria, or some central Asian country to be tortured by our government contractors.
How's that, Abe?
Sorry for the excessive links.
We're google-bombing ourselves to get WTH to the top of the Google results page when you search for Helen Shiller.
We're at #6 currently (up from 10 about a week ago), and shooting for the goal of #1 before election day.
Try it.
Craig:
We appreciate the exposure the HellHole brings us, and we've provided a link to the HellHole via our blog roll.
So, we thank you with every ounce of our being that isn't dedicated to ousting our alderbeast.
We, like you, are fighting for our lives and homes. The situation is that important and desparate. So, we take a few liberties where and when we can.
We'll back off on the links.
By the way, have you seen this site?

Your stuff is there, our stuff is there, it's great!
Dear Vicki:
You are a nut case.
Sincerely,
WTH
Julie,
Every statement made above makes me believe you are not a realistic. Actually I think your an idiot.
"Tell you what, next time the police pull you over for a traffic violation, do them a favor and get out of the car instead of waiting for them. See what kind of reaction you get."
Everyone knows you need to stay in your car when you’re pulled over. The police have the right to feel a little threatened when people do not follow the rules. Why do you think people deserve special treatment for not following the rules?
"All law enforcement officers are trained to fire at the chest, so she is either a really lousy shot or a crack shot."
Where did you get your information from? The police officer did the correct thing. If a man is charging after her with a knife, why shoot him in the chest. She shot him in the correct place to dismobilize him.
"BTW, the suspect, was taken to St. Francis and immediately rushed into surgery and is in ICU. "non-life threatening injuries" is how that was described? Hmmmm, I'd hate to see what is life threatening."
What does this have to do with your defense? This was a simple surgery to get (2) bullets out of areas which did not damage any vital organs. A little blood is not life threatening.
As for me, I am happy the guy got shot. I wish he got shot a couple of more times to "non life threatening" areas. I do not carry knifes around and would never show a cop one. If I did, I would expect to get shot. Why do you feel sorry for people that put themselves in these positions?
