Hmmmm... debate #3 and so far we still have angry Don "Skeletor" Gordon and milktoast Chris "HR Pufinstuf" Adams attempting to deliver their ultimately cranky, wanna-be-passionate swipes while Jabba the Anderman Moore sits on the sheer weight of his unaccomplishments and lashes out against the latest Dominicks update- hidden behind the blinding gleam of his unforgivable neon pink tie! And what of Jim JFK Ginderske? Oh he's just taking the high road and delivering his compassionate message along with a common sense plan to unite the neighborhood and rally it behind the idea that we can do better- somebody who is asking not "what can I do for/to you" but rather- what can I do with you. Sadly, it seems that some need to be re-educated to appreciate this level of idealism that contains the courage to take a risk in favor of hope over experience. Kinda makes one wonder how far around the bend we have really come and sheds some light on why our problems remain omnipresent? Without idealism, the revolution is dead so take heart Brokenheart- give that lil teary logo heart a shot of whiskey or some zanex so he/she can lift up it's little head, dry it's tears and great the frigid dawn with optimism! It's not all great but it's not all that bloody bad... if all the bloggers would just pick up some trash or chase a car parked for a drug pickup out of the hood, the common good would be better served.
Cheers P.

Perfecto, while I do love the "Skeletor" moniker for angry old man Don, I've seen it before.

But Jim "JFK" Ginderske...? Are you kidding? This guy is not the embodiment of hope, he's just plain hopeless!

This is the guy who surrounded himself with a bunch of guys stuck in their adolescent punk phase who spent the first 6 months of his campaign gleefully attacking everything that moved. Remember the tasteless photos of Don's daughter? The goofy attempt to tie Adams to WalMart? The tacky 'Fat Chicks in Party Hats' link? That one was so tasteless CRAIG was insulted and removed it!

This is a guy who filed the fewest petition signatures, who held a lingerie show fundraiser, who showed up to file his petitions with a guy in a really BAD duck suit.

THIS is the high road? "Hope over experience", eh? You just made the case for Chris Adams!

...And I call the police all the time. I hate when people make bloggers about to be mere spectators and not active participants. Blogging is about participating so it makes sense that the people who blog are probably more active than those who do not. Of course, there are plenty of community activists not on the internet, but the bloggers I know put their time and money where their keyboards are.
