I'd like to show you the 5 (five) individual 19 minute video clips in their entirety from the RPCAN candidates forum yesterday - but, each clip is way too large to download on the YouTube or Google Video systems. Believe me, I tried. For hours and hours! My goal was to offer unedited versions on the topics covered.
Tenant rights, jobs, property taxes, the lakefront and TIF's.
The banter back and forth was more than interesting to say the least. But with so many candidates speaking, the segments went much longer than the 10 minutes allowed by the free download servers.
Funny stuff like Mr. Aftab from the 50th saying, "Just more hocus pocus, dominocus!" And the best was from Alderman Moore who was looking in the camera saying, 'The Mayor isn't my boss!"
So, does anyone has the capability of handling these large files to upload on the internet? Let me know. That's if anyone really cares to see the clips? (craiggernhardt@comcast.net)

On the way to the event, I walked past the Coe Hole. It's been over a month and not one bit of work has been going on. Yet, Mr. Coe still has problems keeping his fence up. Leaving the event, I was heading home along side 49th ward ZULAC member and recently promoted Cook County Hospital COO, David Fagus, Margot Hacket and Toni Duncan. We all noticed the downed fence together. David said he never supported Mr. Coe and noted the fence was down too. I'm sure we'll be getting prompt attention with this complaint.

What Joe has failed to recognize or admit is that we the voting taxpayers are his boss. He's blatantly showered his blessings on his favorites and excluded the rest of us.
If one has 5 kids, there may be one favorite, but its wise not to let the other kids see parental favoritism is it? The same logic applies to an alderman who is paid from taxpayer dollars.
Hey Joe,
How about a photo op at Greenview & Morse?

As far as Joe is concerned, his bosses are his campaign contributors, period.
Craig, you should forward these photos to the city attorney's office and get the contractor here fined. I'm sure the fines aren't big enough to be a deterrent to future infractions, though.
