Blgonotes: WGN took down the cooked numbers. Calls were made to WGN and they said this was nothing more than a test. WGN needs to address this issue. This is as bad as some bloggers I know.

Thanks for writing. Yes, our test page of results was mistakenly linked on the live site yesterday. When the error was discovered, we immediately removed it from the site. We apologize for the error.

what's up with dorothy brown getting some major numbers?
where are these numbers coming from? Are they doing exit polling or what - their numbers look bogus to me Naisy Dolar in 50 is only showing 8%.
i agree juneway. somee of these numbers look plain wrong. natarus, according to wgn, is getting murdered. Though he may lose, I don't see him losing as badly as they have projected currently...
look at the results for mayor and city clerk. I find it hard to believe that those numbers work out to be the same.

Uh, I think that was just some sample data they loaded to test the system. The Chicago Board of Elections has not released any election results as of yet. It usually doesn't start to trickle out 'till after 7:00.
Besides, WGN's percentages were similar across all the races. "Testing, test one, two, three...test."
Those are bunk.......
Note that the numbers for Mayor and Clerk are exactly the same.

WGN really did scare me as I just assumed they were based on sample poll results, or even early/absentee voters, but now that the information in no longer there I feel a little better. Get it together WGN! You're suppose to be a credible news source and you had that up all day!

That link is hosed b/c of traffic. CLTV has Moore @ 50% w/ Gordon @ 31% w/ 21% reporting..

The Board of Elections' site seems to be somewhat overwhelmed. I think they might have 'misunderestimated' their bandwidth useage requirements for the show.

This is 69% of vote returns, is this all the people that turned out?, so far barley 3,000 out of how many renters and ovwners in this ward 30000? These are just plain awlful numbers, when you have low numbers and 4 candidatesm the favor usulaly goes to the inc.

We depend upon the mainstream media for factual information, so there is no excuse for WGN's little 'test'. Their numbers had Don closing in very closely on Moore.
Can JoMo dispute the results and get a recount, or are we assured a runoff in April? 49.33 is WAYYYY to close for comfort.
