* Don Gordon Doesn't Just Have Plans - He Has Vision

Rogers Park Neighbor is getting into the 49th ward election blogging spirit. Lately Jocelyn had been using her blog in a very effective way to challenge our leaders. Good for her. She's getting more readers and commentaries too. Her latest entry is titled...
Does David Fagus Have the Mind of a Grasshopper?

He [David Fagus] starts off by challenging Don to not take any campaign contributions from developers starting now.

First of all, it takes a lot of nerve for someone who is rolling in the mud to tell the other guy that he has a spot of ketchup on his shirt.

Don runs a true grassroots campaign with almost entirely neighborhood residents and volunteer staff. Joe Moore on the other hand, pulls many of his troops from outside the Ward from groups like the DFA . Nothing like outsiders and some extremist animal rights activists helping decide who our next Alderman is. He goes on to ask Don to roll out his "real plans for the neighborhood."

This is where I started to think he may have a mind the size of a grasshopper.

Jocelyn goes on to say....> Fagus referred to - "Joe Moore did for you." Who got the Lakefront Referendum on the ballot last year? Not Joe Moore. It was a group of organized constituents led by Don Gordon. Oh, and when it comes to the Lakefront, Don doesn't just have plans, he has vision.

And now, maybe just maybe Mr. Fagus will explain why he endorsed Todd Stroger for Cook County Board President. We'd really like to know!

Blognotes: Mr. Fagus, we're all waiting. Please respond to the above post.

Question #1:) Why did you and Alderman Moore endorse Todd Stroger over the 49th ward residents top choice?

Question #2:) Will Alderman Moore and yourself return all the campaign money in both your political war-chests right now? The ball's in your court.

Is it just me, or did Alderman Moore just pull starting blogboy Alex Armour to the bench and bring in his high paid closer, the unethical screwball/spitter specialist, David Fagus?

I thought it was John Stroger that Fagus endorsed - getting the son was a back room deal.

Never fear Craig, Fagus has been lurking in the Machine Shadows. Now that he's secured his income from Toddy it's time to help his pal Joe. It's not about what is best for RP, or all income levels -it's about them - just as it's been for 16 long, weary, little to no action years.

David Fagus voted to slate Todd Stroger as the democratic candidate.

It's programmed to do that. (just joking)

Toni posted so I have don't think it's the blog.

YOUR VOTE is your responsibility as committeeman.

HOW DID YOU VOTE on Urkel?

> The basic truth is that I stood with the people on this selection

WHAT "people"?

The "people" of the 49th ward?

Are you (currently) the Chairman of the Democratic party of the 49th Ward?

Or do you mean "The Organization of County Hacks Concerned for Their Jobs?"

The basic truth is you sold out your people.
