* Don Gordon Responds To Fagus Spin

I just got off the phone with Don Gordon. He told me Mr. Fagus is just plain wrong. He didn't say he'd stop taking campaign money in 2011. He said he'd stop taking it, "As soon as he's ELECTED!

Can't you even get your facts right Mr. Fagus?

Mr. Gordon said if Alderman Moore vows to send back all the money remaining in his 1/4 million dollar war chest, he'll do the same with his campaign contributions. And then make a promise to shut down his campaign office. He'll do the same. Then make a promise not to send out any literature or put up any signs. He'll do the same.

Democrat Don Gordon said, "Let's get the message out one voter at a time."

Alderman Moore just can't help it, he's addicted to campaign contributions. Even on election eve. Collecting campaign contribution from outside interests.

I'd like to see don respond to the Sun-Times story:

Rogers Park: Chicago's Venice Beach

"Orr, who owns a marketing/design business, says she hasn't regretted her decision (to buy in RP) for even one second. While she felt a little nervous after making the move -- because of more "gang activity in the area" than she was used to -- she said that hands-on community policing, diligent patrolling and all kinds of quality-of-life people, places and things in the neighborhood have assured her that she is in the right place at the right time. She can list the best places within walking distance for delicious seafood or vintagey high ceilings, great appetizers or fabulous desserts, from Morseland on Morse to Cafe Suron on Pratt, to name a couple (west of Sheridan and east of Sheridan, respectively).

Seems liek the 20 or so people who post here are in a distinct minority about the RP hell hole.

And this.

Only a few may comment RP Nay Bore, but plenty are reading and responding on their own blogs.

I hate to sound like Marian the Grammarian, but, this item from DF's bio strikes me as a little funny.

"Fagus and his family are living a life dedicated to public service, David as a health care administrator providing health care to detainees at Cook County Jail and his wife Tanya who is a police officer."

Is DF providing health care to his wife, in addition to the inmates at the county jail? Sounds like it to me.

Or is Tanya, his wife, providing health care to the detainees at the county jail?

Run on sentances are tacky. Craig, you need a grammar tune up too sometimes.

Ethical standards?

Who you crappin?

You sure you want to go there?

Are you free-lancing or did Citizens for Joe Moore approve this message?

Hey Fagus, why don't you talk about YOUR guy's ethical standards?

I dare you. Write three coherent paragraphs on

Joe Moore's Ethical Standards.

Give it a whirl. THAT I'd like to see.

Separately, but speaking of ethics, write and tell us who has been paying he rent and the phone bill for the political action committee you lead, the Democratic Committee of the 49th Ward, and how it has nothing to do with your advocacy of Joe Moore.

Am I seeing this correctly David Fagus the machine hack is critizing someone's integrity.
It never ceases to amaze me that people like David Fagus and Karl Rove can criticize people for there lack of integrity.

David and while you are at it what are your qualifications for your 6 figure county job other than being committeman. And please elaborate on what you are doing to solve the operational problems at Cook County Hospital highlighted in the recent articles in the Tribune.

For Fabulous Fagus to speak of 'integrity' as he sat in the Allegro Hotel and voted 'STROGER' representing a ward that voted against PAPA STROGER. Fab Fagus took it upon his machine mine to think for us. Forget all about our voices.

Now that's integrity!

Mr. Fagus can say whatever he wants. Don Gordon is still the best man for the job. He has stated that in order to compete with our current Alderman, who has raised close to 500K, we will take contributions and after he is elected, this will cease. I guess it's just too complex for some people to understand?

Fagus, when we're done with the Alderman's office we're coming after committeeman!

Interesting concept Hugh. When Don Gordon is alderman, just how cooperative will Fagus be? After all, Don wants a transparent and honest government and Fagus has been hiding in the shadows doing dirty little machine tactics for how long?

Is there hope that Fagus could learn how to be what he needs to be as OUR representative to the democratic party?
