He's already sitting on a 1/4 million dollars, the SEIU has sent out three mailers on his behalf, now this. Talk about a little April Fool's Day fundraising. This is not a joke. This is some serious dough. What's one do with soooo much money in the campaign war-chest for such low voter turn-out?

BLOGNOTES: Question. How much time has Alderman Moore spent working on his 49th ward job as compared to his 49th ward re-election, campaign job in the last 3 months?
I'm guessing the taxpayers are really getting screwed by Moore in the first quarter of '07.

Are all those people and unions going to get their money back in two weeks when Gordon is voted in as alderman?
Ok- so screening comments again?
You are such a desperate coward masquerading as community activist... barf...
Stay home w your monkey! Pleez!!
Wow. Makes you wonder what kind of desperate plea went out for donations a few days ago...

Here’s a joke I heard that JoMo’s supporters might understand…
Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the site of the Howard “L” station. One from Ward A, another from Ward B, and the third from the 49th ward. They go with a 49th ward official to examine the fence.
The Ward A contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil. "Well," he says, "I figure the job will run about $900: $400 for materials, $400 for my crew and $100 profit for me."
The Ward B contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says, "I can do this job for $700: $300 for materials, $300 for my crew, and $100 profit for me."
The 49th ward contractor doesn't measure or figure, instead he leans over to the 49th ward official and whispers, "$2,700."
The 49th ward official, incredulous, says, "You didn't even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?"
The 49th ward contractor whispers back, "$1,000 for me, $1,000 for you, and we hire the guy from Ward B to fix the fence."
"Done!" replies the 49th ward official.
You said that you guessed the taxpayers were getting screwed by Lying Joe in the 1st Quarter of 2007. So why should the past three months be different from the rest of the past 16 years under this piece of political garbage?
Remember that April 17 is the Spring Cleaning Day for the voters of the 49th Ward, by ousting this political blight from their midst.
I just don't get it... why is Toni Preckwinkle giving money to JoMo?
What is her percentage in our community?
Joe Moore is a highly respected and appreciated leader. All the support from the Unions shows how important he is for hard working people who deserve a living wage. The people that want jobs also want a living wage. What are all the people who want Lincoln Park on Howard Street willing to work for, less than a$7.65 an hour? Personally, I see a diverse neighborhood that people from all walks of life can afford to live in that also stands up for the voiceless, suffering animals stuffed in cages with tubes down their throat for instance. Gordon supporters are cackling that it doesn't represent our ward, but it does! And the city council agreed with Alderman Moore, because they examined the issue and found Foie Gras unconscionable. Your property values will definately go up and you can still stuff your faces with every indulgence imaginable, and you can enjoy this conscientous neighborhood, that is quite pleasant, and if you are worried about crime and decay, why don't you worry about the underlying cause of poverty, like our Alderman IS and get on board and re elect OUR champion of the living wage! OUR champin against wasteful war spending! Our Champion for humane treatment of animals! THE Alderman of Roger's Park, the best neighborhood in Chicago! Pretty soon the self serving will out number and you will all be swinging hammers over who gets reservations at the fancy restaurant and whether the grass is the right height and if the porches are too cluttered or the neighbors too loud and suspicious looking....
