im all for community events - but its so sad we need one that stands for "stop. killing. people." really? i mean c'mon - the people that go to this aren't the ones doing the killing, now are they? i say we start a lynch mob... eye for an eye baby!
Craig, I just found your blog today and I wanted to say how appriciative I am for such a great resource. I moved here to Roger's Park from Michigan last summer and have been looking to become more involved and educated about my community. I really like that I can come to this site and get this information minus the bullshit.
Welcome to the fray, but don't think that Craig doesn't come up with some whoppers sometimes. We're all entitled to take a side and speak out our behinds sometimes.
DBT, Thank you for the advice. I spent a large part of this afternoon really looking around the sight and I can see that Craig is very passionate about the neighborhood he lives in. I find his point of view refreshing. I am a newcomer to this neighborhood and this site. But, my home (here, Roger's Park) and the people I have met, mean a lot to me. I have been here a year but I have serious health problems that keep me at home in bed a majority of the time. Having a resource like this to keep up on the news, events, opinions, politics, opposition, etc...is great for someone like me who wants to help and know more. I might not be able to do much because of my health, but I can access this site and make my own judgements.

Dear Ms. Has An Orange Dog --
Welcome to the fray, but don't think that Craig doesn't come up with some whoppers sometimes. We're all entitled to take a side and speak out our behinds sometimes.
As of 3:00 there is NOTHING set up at Pottawatomie Park. So much for "free to all" at 2:00.
