If I were to blog about this, I'd be labeled a nut-case. So we'll let
Marcy tell you about the crazy, pregnant drunk woman and racist bar patron who drinks at Duke's on North Glenwood. Reading about the Duke's encounter, I'm wondering if Marcy may have run into the Rogers Park spelling specialist Tom Westgard?

Huh, I don't get it, Marcey gave a pregnant woman smokes and a drink?
""I'd no sooner agree with this guy than offer to buy a drink and some smokes for the drunken pregnant woman from the street, who was white and has probably caused her fair share of problems everywhere she's ever been.""
Sounds to me like Marcy REFUSED to give the pregnant woman a drink or cigarettes.
Read her sentance ""I'd NO SOONER agree with this guy than offer to buy a drink and some smokes for the pregnant woman". Her sentance is very negative in intent. I take it to mean she would not agree with this guy under any circumstances, and that she would NOT buy cigs and drinks for the pregnant woman.
Charming. . .a woman who doesn't care enough about her unborn child to keep herself healthy, and another Rogers Park racist.
I wonder if the racist is any kin to Rogers Parker who used to print his racist messages regularly in The Reader back in the early 1980s.
