* Revisiting 'Artists on the Wall' 2006

The 14th Annual Artists of the Wall Festival is this weekend, (June 16 & 17) at Loyola Beach Park. Artists and non-artists of all ages, skills and backgrounds can gather at Loyola Park between Pratt and Morse Avenues. Sections of the wall are marked off and “sold” to anyone and everyone who applies. Entry fees are $30 for a square. Application forms are available for adults and children, up until the day of the festivities.

Mr. Brokenheart needs a facelift. This year the 'Broken Heart' will be looking for the best 'Broken Heart' of Rogers Park logo painted on the wall to add to the masthead. Anyone want to give it a try?

Does that mean someone with artistic talent (which excludes me) can plunk down $30 and then draw a picture of Joe Moore behind bars in a prison jumpsuit?
