* Alderman Doesn't Return Call

Dear Craig,

Yesterday I left a voicemail on Alderman Moore's office telephone and let him know that ONCE AGAIN, at 8:15 in the morning, I witnessed drug deals at Morse and Glenwood. I also mentioned that I see this most mornings and never see anything done. I left my full name and office number and also mentioned that I work at Loyola. Maybe it wasn't a good idea? I'm really pissed off especially since my purse got stolen. It's been 24 hours and I have not received a call back.

Signed,
Will This Ever End?

No, it will never end, and the reason that Joe Moore and his associates did not call you back - here's the biggie - you are friends of Craig, and odds are they have more important things to do thant deal with Craigs friends and worthless associates

When I read this I thought along the same lines. I'm betting, if you called and left a message saying you'd like to make a campaign contribution, Joe would've personally called the person back with-in thirty minutes.

What NEEDS to be done is all complaints/issues need to be posted on this blog.
This morning I read the post here about the downed trees in the park...at 9:15 I was walking through the park and that limb was down and cut up, and the crew was moving the limb that fell two or three nights ago.
It would seem whomever is in charge of getting stuff done at the alderman's office reads this blog...and gets stuff done.

maybe they're too stupid to know how to use their voicemail system. at least we know that at least one person knows how to use the internet - and read.

yeah but no one give a shit about gravel,

has anything been done about that,

but yeah that is really a non issue, apparently stealth gravel
is beneath the notice of all,

all might gravel,
grovel before me,
as i ignore thee
in perpepuity.

gravel is a wondruous thing,
it inspires the heart to carelessly walk by its presence and
nevermore to tire to see it day by day
as it never rots it may be the fountain of youth,

Listen, Joe doesn't want to be ambushed in person or over the phone. You need to schedule a sit down meeting with him.

the selling of drugs by gangbangers aint gonna end under drug prohibition.....maybe just try to ignore them but try not to get caught in the crossfire
