* Glenwood Art Fair Notes - Day One

From my stat number count and guesstimating the crowds at the Glenwood Art Fair today, I'd say Mr. 'Broken Heart' outdrew the fest in numbers 2 to 1. Who knew the Morse Hell Hole was more popular than a street fair. Thanks readers. I'd also like to thank the band who dedicated a song to Mr. 'Broken Heart' today. Thanks for that too. Seeing Kevin O'Neil dance to that song made my day.

BLOGNOTES: Worth a mention. Joe Moore's major political suck-up boy James Ginderske got a REAL job for a couple of days. He was working the street fair as the official flyer hand-out guy. Those 900 people who voted for this fool must be real proud of how they cast their vote today.

I think a lot of people were refreshing the page to see when you were going to complain about the fair.

I know I was waiting for the post from you about it. Made a bet with my friend if it would be a negative or positive post.

By the way, since you’re criticizing Ginderske's job status, what is it you do? It seems to me that since you spend a lot of time screening and censoring comments on your blog you wouldn't have time for a full time job. If running the blog is indeed your full time job, than it seems a little unfair to attack Ginderske's employment situation.

Also, I understand your frustration with Jim supporting my Dad in the run off since you were a Gordon guy, but it seems like your being a little hypocritical. After all, you spent a lot of time last Summer digging up dirt on Don Gordon, but then you ended up being a huge supporter of his.

I know it seems like I'm trying to call you out and start a fight, but all I'm trying to do is open up a discussion. I'm not waging any personal attacks on who you are, I'm just trying to stick to the issues being discussed. I would appreciate it if you did the same, instead of making fun of me in front of all your readers like you did earlier.

Peace,
Nathan

I think this is a fairly positive report despite the fact I've donated over $2000 dollars in advertising, plus I've given the fest priceless editorial coverage - and this year, I even popped for a cover tagline promotion.

And for the second year in a row, my company has received zero dollars on the investment. You'd think the fest organizers could've at least ponied up a free t-shirt.

Like I've said many times before - unless you're in the club, you can bet your bottom dollar, you'll be screwed over by DevCorp North.

Wrap up. I got a t-shirt Sunday from Al Goldberg. Later in the day, temporary Fest-Guardian Jim Ginderske wanted to third degree me on where I got it from.

So you think you had twice as many readers as attendees at the Art Fest?

Now that's funny.

Craig Gernhardt said...

What's really funny is the fact all you 'Pollyanna's for Joe' focus on my attendance figures of a fest and

homelessness,

abundant crime,

overwhelming gangs ruling the neighborhood,

Morse Avenue being a shit-hole 363 days a year,

park neglect,

TIF spending,

etc. etc, etc, never seem to bother you.
