Exclusive Look @ Joe Moore Neglecting His Ward Duties
Here's a car killer. A gaping pothole in the middle lane, southbound on Sheridan at Devon. It's got a medal plate that's off the mark, plus a barricade. Yet, someone's going to to fall in this sucker soon enough if it doesn't get fixed.
Is that a good enough description for you Joe Moore and staff? I got your mass/political email - and that's what you asked us to do. Right?
But, instead of sending you this information via email and never getting a response, like usual, I thought I'd get better results posting the information here for you and everyone else to see.
BLOGNOTES: Oh, and thanks for getting a crew over to Chase and Sheridan Road. That sinkhole got fixed, but not without major controversy. Wait until you see the exclusive four part series this week. I don't expect you to do anything about it Joe. That's why I'm going over your head.

The same kind of sinkhole exists at Greenleaf and Paulina...and has been there for 4 or 5 months now. And not a thing's been done about it, of course. I can't wait until a kid falls in it or something.
where else do sinkholes happen in chicago?
its common in california, and many times much much worse,
i know whole streets that have been shutdown for months due to enormous sink holes in LA,
it appears that rogers park is probably the hotspot for sinkholes in chicago, i could be wrong,
just wondering if anyone knew?
Jeffo, I've observed sink holes in numerous places throughout Chicago and in different seasons of the year. I remember a huge one on South Halsted a couple of winters ago that required a temporary detour of the traffic. I think it was near 69th Street but I'm not certain.
Add a sinkhole at 7650 N Sheridan Rd. It has been reported numerous times over the past 10 months or so. Maybe since they are now a priority for the ward it will finally get fixed.
Probably not.
