* Neighbor Happy Broken Tree Gets Cut Down
Dear Craig, Haven't you been in the park lately? If you had, you'll notice the ugly tree that you've featured a few times has been cut and removed. I took this picture if you want to post it. I hope you do. The park looks so much better. The bike path is free of the tree branches that blocked my way to the beach every morning. I can see the lake (and the pier) again from my favorite spot. Woo hoo. I want to thank you for keeping tabs on this problem spot. Many times things don't get taken care of in a timely fashion. Your blog is a great service to the neighborhood in that regard. Without you RP would be in a heck of a mess. Once again Craig, thanks.
Signed,

See Craig,
You can be useful if you want to. I give you mad credit for this kind of stuff.
This is you at your best. Really
I'm glad the broken tree has been taken care of, too. Now only if those crevices and potholes in the bike path along the lake would be fixed.
During the summer, I walk along that path on my way to the boxing gym. One hole near the fieldhouse and Heartland Cafe's summer booth seems to always be filled with water, especially after a rainfall. It's treacherous trying to ride a bike or skate through there.
