* Loyola Park Creates Homeless Shelter

It looks as if the homeless have found comforting shelter in Loyola Park courtesy of a downed tree at Morse Avenue and the lake. This tree has been down a while. Joe Moore must have noticed this during his political picnic on Sunday? Or then again, maybe not.

BLOGNOTES: Mr. 'Broken Heart' Warning. Downed tress like this are perfect places for muggers and robbers to hide, then sneak up on you. Loyola University students, please be careful when walking north along the lakefront path in Loyola Park.

Not possible. Super Joe arranged for the local police to patrol the parks to keep people from living there.

Prediction: Joe will wait for the first hard freeze to drive the addicts out of the park then hold a press conference to celebrate his success.

Does anyone know if Loyola U. students are offered self-defense classes on campus? That would certainly help more than the university just telling them to look out.

Boy you don't get out much do you. If you take Lake Shore Drive downtown you can see there are trees still tossed everywhere in Lincoln Park. So sad. If there is only a branch or two in Loyola Park, you are lucky.

I suppose the trees that fell all over the neighborhoods are a higher priority than collecting a few branches in a park. There are many branches on side streets still waiting to be picked up.
