* Crash Sends SUV into Building

A 'Broken Heart' Exclusive

A early morning crash not only sent this SUV into this store at California and Touhy, it sent three people to the hospital. Sources close to the scene tell me two cars were involved. At the time of the accident, (3:00 AM) witnesses on scene said Touhy had just been plowed. So the slickness of the road shouldn't have been a factor. Most likely driver error caused this accident.

The building itself is ready to collapse. The building owner has been notified. The truck inside isn't safe to move at this time. Busy-Bee board up services was on the scene, as were a couple of other broken window specialists. Nothing further at this time.

Hey Craig, do you have any more info on this accident? I looked at the Trib site and it didn't seem like there was anything there, which I find a little strange considering they're usually quick to report on old people crashing into Panera Bread restaurants. So how is this different?
