* Edgewater Residents Beware

If you live in the vicinity of Lakewood and Thorndale, watch out. I've scored some information you'll find no where else.

A 'Broken Heart' exclusive regarding the shooting by Senn High School was a dispute between the 'Choir Boy' Vice Lords and the Thorndale 'Boy Scout' GD's. It's not known at this time which version of the Vice Lords are debating the Thorndale 'Boy Scout' GD's. It could be the Conservative Vice Lords or the Liberal Vice Lords.

Anyhow, I've got a good source that tells me the 'Boy Scouts' are upset with the latest round of bullets that flew their way. Besides that, guess what? Now they're looking to retaliate on the 'Choir Boys'.

That leads me to believe the 'Choir Boys' were shooting at the 'Boy Scouts' yesterday and the 'Boy Scouts' will be shooting at the 'Choir Boys' in the near future.

So, to conclude, Edgewater residents beware - because the 'Boy Scouts' and 'Choir Boys' have a terrible track record with accuracy and aren't the best shots. You just might be their next unintended target.

Blognotes: Looks like all the Morse Avenue action is heading south for the winter.

Uh-oh, the "hood" has come up to Roger's Park.

I don't know what's going on - but there's been way more 911 action in the last two months near Throndale than there's been near Morse.

And, for the record, you'll hear no complaints from me.

The "hood" has been in parts of Rogers Park for decades. Same with Edgewater, Uptown, and in the far distant past, when the buffalo roamed the plains and the Mayor had the initials RJD, even Lakeview and Lincoln Park.

Think it has anything to do with the renovation and de-population of the Lunt/Morse apartments?
Hmmmmm... makes you think...

Wombat is correct, the "hood" has always existed in RP and elsewhere in the city. I noticed that back in 1982, when I first moved here. You can't escape it, but it pays to watch out for the signs.

there is also an alderman ( alderwoman) that wants Senn High School to become an exclusive selected enrollment school. She wants and supports the militarization of public schools. This is a policy where the majority of minority enrollees are promised money to go to college. What the military schools don't tell the parents are the short stop over in either Iraq, Iran or any other place theUS government wants to control. The funny thing about alderwoman smith is she easily forgets is that ovet70% of those enrolled at Senn live and reside in the community. The may be new comers to the United States. They want to learn and the majority of the students at Senn get along. It is an amazing place to attend school as you learn about everyone from just about everywhere on the planet.
Some of those in charge of this new board of education battle shoulod come to Senn for the Parade Of Nations Assembly!
It will make you proud to live in such a diverse community!
Maybe these shootings are to scare residents in to moving away from Senn. What a tragedy that would be.
When you have time go to a Senn LSC meeting!
Visit the school and then ask the alderman what her problem is ok
I am a teacher and just recently retired from the Chicago Board of Education. I was so fortunaTE to spend the last 5 years of my career there.
Really an amazing place. An amazing
Leadership Team, and awesome teachers!
The alderwoman's plan has no use for the current staff or leadership!
I think she just want her own political palace where she can hire aND FIRE and move more minorities into the military.
She claims she wants an Arts Program - mmmmm what happened to the art promgram that was at Senn as well as the woman who runs the current art program. Visit her program and she what her students put out!
There is also an Achievement Academy at Senn. This is a special program affiliated with JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY. It is for students with issues as well as scores below the 24 quartile!
I haven't seen the alderman's plan for the 100 students in the Achievement Academy!
I have seen it gradually disembled year by year as if the students had leprosy.
The students that have attended the Achievement Academy have done well. They have matriculated into Senn High School!
Tehy have participated in clubs, sports, debate team and oops! they have earned their diplomas!
No, not all of them but where will they go?
