• A 36-year-old man got a brass knuckle sandwich following an argument with a man in his 20s on the 1600 block of West Howard Street around 10 p.m. Dec. 7. The victim told police that the argument escalated into violence, where the man punched the victim in the mouth. The man fled westbound on Howard.

Brass knuckles? I thought that weapon, along with nunchuck sticks were banned in Illinois. Apparently someone was able to buy some.
And spray paint isn't sold in Chicago, yet the prevalence of graffiti lives on.
