* Rogers Park Christmas Carols

It's that time of the year again. Christmas. And what comes with Christmas? Christmas songs. One of our local third tier mock bloggers had a anonymous commenter leave this little diddy in the comments section. Of course it had to be directed for Mr. 'Broken Heart'.

O little town of Robbers Park,
Clobbered daily by some bad guy;

You are a great big rubbish heap
Chicago's only black eye;

Yet in thy dark streets always
A everlasting blight;

The despair and fears of all the years
Keep me locked in at home tonight.

For everyday I’m wary
Of being mugged or gooned.

While I wait for creeps,
Out on the streets
My home is burglarized.

This "song" itself is a violent act.

Lord knows we have our problems, and we need to keep working to expose and correct them....but this song is just gratuitous RP bashing. What good can come of it?
