* Shooting in 24

Scanner activity reports another shooting early this morning. Sounds like someone got hit, as the police were at the hospital. No exact location of the shooting was issued while I was monitoring the scanner (the extra radio chatter woke me at 4:15 a.m., I fell asleep with the scanner on last night.) No report about the condition of the victim either. And no report of what type of gun the boy scout was using while trying to earn his merit badge.

I was exiting Morseland cafe with my wife when the first shot was fired, followed by a short pause and then 2 more. We got low to the ground and then started running when I noticed a car speeding away and 2 guys running. That is the fastest 911 response I have ever seen I will give you that. they were at the scene in about 2 min. It was right next to Leonas. My wife is originally from Roscoe Village when it was super ghetto and then moved to Humboldt Park. I was raised by Rogers Park for 25 years and we now have a home in West Ridge. She did not know Rogers Park got down like that. I told her how it was growing up in the 80's and it looks like it has not changed much.
